Kingaroy Bowls Club and Amenities

At the Kingaroy Bowls Club you are always welcome.  Whether your interest is in the wonderful game of lawn bowls or simply enjoying the club facilities and relaxed social environment. Established in 1937, the Kingaroy Bowls Club started out from humble beginnings to become one of the major bowls clubs in the South Burnett. 
The club has two full size greens providing 8 rinks on each green.  One green is fitted with lights to enable night bowls.  Bar facilities are available with drinks at very reasonable prices.

Lawn Bowls

Social lawn bowls is played each Thursday afternoon – names to be into the games office by 12 noon – Phone number 41627461  

Carnivals are played throughout the year – July, September and November.  Night Corporate bowls is played each Tuesday night from October to April starting at 7pm – Individuals or teams are most welcome.

Parties and Functions

Kingaroy Bowls Club facilities are available for hire for parties or work related conferences and barefoot bowls is always popular.  Catering options are available, check with the club for more info on these.  Christmas parties are very popular with lots of weekend nights being book during October, November and December.  Book early to avoid disappointment.  The office at the bowls club is not always attended, leave a message 41621404 or send an email This email address is being protected from spambots. Playing bowls regularly can improve your health, strength and immune system and sharpen your mind.  It can also increase your bone strength, improve muscle and decrease blood pressure, along with improved sleep patterns, joint flexibility and reduced anxiety.  People of all physical capabilities can participate in this popular sport.   In a typical game of bowls, you can walk 1.5 kms and lift 92 kgs, bend and stretch up to 88 times and do 21 step ups.  Sounds like a decent workout!!!
